What is the Tropical Rainforest?
A tropical rainforest is full of many tall trees in a climate of year round warmth. They can be found next to the equator and temperatures range from about 63-93 degrees Farenheit all year. Average precipitation can reach 50-260 inches of rainfall a year! Due to these unique features, the tropical rainforest is classified as the tropical wet climate. Throughout the rainforest, many exotic plants and animals can be found. The rainforest is home to the toucan, spider monkey, tigers, sloth, macaw, boa constrictor, tree snail, morpho butterly, rhinoceros beetle, and many species of frogs. Plants can include orchids, lianas, epiphytes, figs, carniverous plats, and bromeliads as well as many tall trees. On the island of Sumatra, many national parks are located such as Gunung Leuser National Park, Kerinci Seclat National Park, and Bukit Barisoan Seletan. Monuments in many different tropical rainforests are sights people from other continents come to see. These include the Aristides Rojas Natural Monument, Guayabo Nationall Monument, Barro Colorado Nautre Monument, Alfredo Jahn Cave Natural Monument, and finally the Cueva del Guacharo Natural Monument

What is a Climatogram?
Climatograms show monthly variations in only two climatic factors, precipitation and temperature. Climatograms are useful because they show annual precipitaion in certain biomes . This helps predict the incoming weather. The abiotic factors of the tropical rainforest can be caculated by using a climatograph. The precipitaion for each month is caculated and put onto the graph. Then climate is measured again through caculating the temperatures. The biotic features of the rainforest depend upon the abiotic features. For example, the more monthly rainfall you have, the more trees will grow and plants will live. Another example, if the temperatures drop, animals like the sloth won't be able to survive do to there adaptions. The tropical rainforest grows and expands depending upon the results of the climatogram.
